The Garden Isle

The Isle of Wight, located on the south coast of England, is full of charm and renowned for it's beauty and warmer climate. The picturesque Island is a mixture of spectacular cliffs, sandy beaches and rich farmland. There are many historical Island attractions to visit including Queen Victoria's favourite retreat at Osbourne House, as well as Carisbrooke Castle and the new Isle of Wight Dinosaur Museum, to name but a few.

Modern towns & unspoilt villages

Away from the peaceful and rambling countryside, the Isle of Wight's capital town, Newport, has in more recent years included major retail companies to its shopping centre. Another busy and popular town is Ryde which is located on the north-east side of the Island - Easily accessed from the mainland by it's fast passenger catamaran and hovercraft services. There is an array of beautiful country and seaside villages - still amazingly unspoilt - which need to be visited to be appreciated.

Stunning beaches

The Isle of Wight has superb beaches - ideal for the avid sun worshipper or the more energetic who can enjoy ideal windsurfing and sailing conditions. Cowes Week is one of the biggest sailing attractions of the world where yachtsmen from all corners of the earth come to partake in the racing, spectating or simply socialising.All in all, a delightful way of life is experienced by all those who own either a permanent residence or perhaps a second home - simply to escape the fast living across the water!
